How long does it take for my carpet to dry?

As much as we would like to give you a solid answer, it depends. Do you have a thin builders grade polyester carpets or a thick nylon or even stretched in wool carpet?  Is it a hot Texas summer day or is it a cool clamy winter day?  After service we will advise on how long to expect your carpets to dry. 

How long until I can walk on my carpets?

Most carpets do best if they are not walked on until they are dry, but this is primarily for asthetics. The heat from the cleaning helps to reset the pile in carpets that have low "resilency" like Polyesters.  In time the low resliency carpets will mat back down but staying off the carpets helps they stick up and that helps them dry faster.
